Vashti “Tice” Supplee has been with the National Audubon Society since 2005, after a career with the Arizona Game and Fish Department that included experiences in research, habitat management, game management, and urban wildlife. She coordinates Audubon Southwest science related activities with National Audubon Society programs, and manages the New Mexico and Arizona Important Bird Areas programs—sites that are critical to a complete life cycle for resident and migratory birds.
Tice earned her B.S at Cornell University and M.S. at the University of Arizona, both in Wildlife Ecology. She is a member of the Sonoran Joint Venture science committee, Arizona Bird Conservation Initiative, New Mexico Avian Conservation Partners, Partners in Flight Pinyon Jay Working Group, Desert Thrashers Working Group, Lower Gila River Collaborative coordinating committee, and Upper San Pedro Partnership public advisory and technical committees.
