Stella Reed

Office and Outreach Manager

Stella (she/her) attends to the administrative details of operations for Audubon Southwest, the Randall Davey Audubon Center and Sanctuary, and Rio Salado Audubon Center. In addition to compiling and sending out the newsletter, she manages volunteers, assists in facilities rentals, processes donations, and keeps track of finances. 

Stella has lived in Santa Fe, New Mexico for more than thirty-five years. She has extensive experience with non-profits ranging from volunteer at the Wildlife Rescue Centre in Cairns, Australia to management positions in healthcare. Much of her work has centered on education, development, and outreach. She holds an MFA in creative writing from New England College. She established the haiku trail at the Randall Davey Audubon Center and teaches poetry and nature journaling to the Center’s young visitors and summer campers.
