James (he/him) grew up spending summers in the bracken forests of Sussex England, and lots of time exploring the Texas Hill Country, north of where he was raised in San Antonio. At a young age, James garnered a passion for wildlife, inspired by his English, nature loving family.
In 2002 James moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Landscape Photography. Twenty years later, James is a father, raising a family in Santa Fe, and is proud to continue his family traditions here in the landscapes of northern New Mexico.
Today, James is fortunate to work outdoors every day at the Randall Davey Audubon Center and Sanctuary. Working with Carl Beal, Center Director, James tends to the management of the 135 acres the sanctuary occupies. Whether in the garden, on the trails, or in the historical home of Randall Davey, James provides a helping hand to whatever is needed. Newly inspired by his time at the sanctuary, his favorite bird is the Juniper Titmouse.
