Volunteer Naturalist (Ages 15 and above)
Join our education team and help inspire and have fun exploring with 5-11 year
olds this summer. You will be assisting our educators and interns in a variety of tasks, depending on the day and theme of the week. We are searching for volunteers that can model both excellent safety and behavioral standards for our campers. Volunteers must be responsible, open to performing an assortment of tasks, willing to work in a team atmosphere (and possibly on more individually directed tasks), and above all, you should enjoy sharing your love of nature with our young adventurers! We ask that Volunteer Naturalists commit a minimum of 2 weeks to share their talents with our fun-loving campers, throughout our 10 week camp schedule, from 8:15am – 3:30pm each week day.

Junior Naturalists in Training (Ages 12 – 14)
Work as part of our Summer Camp education team, assisting our educators,
interns, and volunteer naturalists. As a Junior Volunteer in Training you will be helping on a variety of tasks, from preparing materials to assisting staff out on the trails. You will work closely with younger children; helping them with indoor and outdoor activities. If you like hanging out in nature, hiking, story-telling, and creating art projects with younger kids, then this is a perfect opportunity for you.
We are looking for responsible, mature individuals who can set a great example for our younger campers with regards to safety and behavior; who are willing and interested in performing a variety of tasks; and who enjoy being outside in a natural setting. We ask that you commit a minimum of 1 week (Monday-Friday); spending the day with our campers from 8:30am – 3:30pm. Please let us know if you are interested in assisting us with more than the one week commitment — we would love to build upon your expertise as a Junior Naturalist!
