Isaiah Meza (he/him) is based in his home state of New Mexico, where he supports climate resilience and habitat improvement on working ranch lands. He is a strong proponent of adaptive resource management and an advocate for integrating human ecology into conservation practices.
Isaiah earned a B.S. in Environmental Science from the University of New Mexico and an M.S. in Environmental Science and Policy from Northern Arizona University. Throughout his academic and professional career, he has worked as a researcher and resource technician with several public-serving land management agencies, developing expertise in arid-land hydrogeology and a talent for interdisciplinary applied science. He is dedicated to advancing regenerative practices that sustain both human and non-human communities, guided by his belief that “life is water” and his commitment to ensuring water serves both people and ecosystems.
Isaiah’s favorite national park is Grand Canyon National Park, and his favorite wildlife refuge is Valle de Oro Urban Wildlife Refuge.'
